Warning: This is not safe for work. If you have already heard the Christian Bale Rant (and really, who hasn’t?) then this is the greatest spin on it yet. Last night on Family Guy, they really spoofed this and hilarity definitely ensued. Check it out. Also check out the techno remix. Haha Classic.
Haha you know you’re an awesome actor when a rant of yours is a pop culture phenomenom.

Sometimes, I consider myself to be a very lucky individual. I have a great job, a wonderful family, and a beautiful girlfriend. Most days, I think about the time I spent in the military and consider myself lucky to even be alive. There is one thing though, that I consider extremely lucky: I was able to witness Mitch Hedberg live in person do his stand-up routine.
It was January or February of 2005 if I am not mistaken, and he came to Vernon Hills, IL to a comedy club named Zanies. Myself, my good friend Joe, and his girlfriend Carrie all loaded up into my two-seater Ford F-150 and made the one hour trek north from Chicago. We all knew him from his Comedy Central show, but none of us knew exactly how funny he really was. From the moment he appeared on the stage to the second he said his goodbyes, there was non-stop laughter and tears from everyone….EVERYONE….in the club. From that day forward, I knew that Mitch Hedberg was the greatest comedian of my generation.
Unfortunately, mere months later, Mitch tragically died. The news was almost unbelievable to me because I had just seen the man on stage. The world of comedy lost a legend that hadn’t yet been able to reach the legendary status he rightfully deserved.
Now, five years after his death, a new CD is in stores entitled “Do You Believe in Gosh?”. The CD features 40 minutes of never-before-heard stand up that was recorded in the months before his death. But this album is much more than just your average standup. This album features Hedberg at his improv finest. Talking with the audience, working on new- and sometimes bad - one liners and jokes, the real Mitch Hedberg is captured and preserved forever. The Mitch Hedberg I remembered from that cold night in Illinois.
If you are a big fan of Mitch Hedberg, this is a must have album. If you don’t know who he is, or are a casual fan, you need to pick this up and relive why us fanatics will always remember Mitch as the best comedian to walk this planet. R.I.P Mitch. You are missed.

LONDON- Handwritten and framed lyrics of the anti-war song, “Give Peace a Chance” by John Lennon were sold at a London auction house by Gail Renard, a posterchild for the expression “Right Place Right Time”. A sixteen year-old Gail snuck in the hotel, up staircases, up fire escapes, and past “tight” security at a Montreal hotel in 1969 where the former Beatle and Yoko Ono staged their infamous “Bed-in” protest when Lennon handed her the lyrics. Gail worried that the lyrics wouldn’t sell. $833,654 dollars later, she recanted her statement.
In other news, what have you written lately that will fetch hundred of thousands of dollars? Yeah, me neither.
