Casino Royale Director To Helm Green Lantern Movie?

Published by timfalletti at 5:17 pm under Entertainment, Movies Edit This

This is one of those “please be true” rumors.  Variety is reporting that Martin Campbell (Casino Royale, Goldeneye) is in talks to direct the big screen adaption of Green Lantern.  The script was already written by television scribes Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim from Eli Stone fame and Michael Green from Smallville.

I hear this movie is getting fast tracked for a possible 2010 release so if that’s true, this may just be the screenwriters and director set to move this awesome movie forward.

Very, very cool. It would more likely be 2014, knowing Warner Bros. I pray to the Guardians of Oa that it follows the story of Hal Jordan.

If it’s not Hal Jordan the geeks of the world will unite and burn WB to the ground.
